Limestone Creek - 1-5 December 2018
This is where we went.
Home for 4 nights, the longest I've camped in the same spot.
Our neighbours were a mob of brumbies.
Cobberas Track peeling off from Limestone Road.
Travelling along Cobberas Track.
A hive of activity.
A nasty mogully section of track.
Limestone Creek Track.
This was the nicest public toilet I've ever used, flush or drop.
Amongst the gnarly snow gums en route to Rams Horn.
View from the top of Rams Horn.
"What's going on out here?"
"I hope they haven't seen me!"
It was quite boggy up on the high plains.
Native Dog Creek.
Commencing our hike up to Mt Cobberas No. 1.
That's one way to cross a creek.
A gradual climb to the summit.
Atop Mt Cobberas No. 1.
Looking across to the lower peaks of the Cobberas Range, The Pilot and Mt Kosciuszko, Australia's highest peak.
Falls Creek and Mt Bogong, Victoria's highest peak.
More views from the top.
Morass Creek Valley.
